Wike seals the deal?

Wike seals the deal?
Governor Nyesom Wike

The Governor of Rivers State, the most popular Nyesom Wike, has yet again emerged in the headlines. It has been alleged that Wike has sealed off all campaign offices, belonging to PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, which are operating within all Local Government Areas of his state, Rivers State.

An act, coinciding with the massive reception enjoyed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party, in his Port-Harcourt rally, has left critics and political thinkers alike pointing towards the same question, could this be a deliberate plot by Wike in favour of Obi's Labour Party? Or just the latest lash out episode included in the series "Against PDP"? Whatever the case may become, Wike himself has announced he will declare to his people, as soon as the month of January, which of the presidential election candidates he will support and even campaign for. In his words, "Not only will I tell them (my people) whom to vote, I will move from state to state (for campaigns)".

Wike has gone on diverse platforms and used various opportunities to express his loss of affection for PDP and Atiku Abubakar in particular. What lies beyond our naked eyes in this relationship is anyone's guess, especially considering the topsy-turvy nature of Nigeria's political high-society.
