Wike drops more bombs

Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has dropped more bombs about the PDP. Wike in an address yesterday in his state, laid bare some information be it authentic or otherwise, about the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria. Following the recent busy up between the G-5 Governors (Seyi Makinde, Oyo. Samuel Ortom, Benue Okezie Ikpeazu, Abia, Nyesom Wike, Rivers. Ifeanyi Ugwanyi ,Enugu.) and the political party, regarding a meeting held in London between the G-5 Governors and the flag bearer of the opposition party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

 

So much hysteria arose about the specific details of the parlay, the PDP even threatened to rusticate the governors involved. Wike, addressing the public in Rivers state has defended himself using PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar as his iron shield, stating that Atiku has been staging several meetings in Dubai with APC governors in the same vein. He further informed the gathering about how former president Olusegun Obasanjo allegedly knelt before (his then vice presidential candidate for the 2003 elections) Atiku and begged for an opportunity to run for a second tenure.

 

This has caused a major stir within the political environment of Nigeria and so many inquisitions are being made to further solidify these statements. A representative of the PDP is yet to comment on the situation, it has also been quiet from Atiku's campaign office and his spokesman.
