Seun Kuti Performs in Helsinki Finland

Seun Kuti performs at the Helsinki World Village Festival on 27.05.2023 while on bail. Fans were thrilled and happy to see the Nigerian Afrobeat superstar.

 

A few weeks ago, a video emerged on the internet showing Seun Kuti slapping a man in police uniform on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, Nigeria.

 

Following a demand for his arrest by the Nigerian Inspector General of Police, Seun reported at the police station and was subsequently detained (for 8 days) and charged. The case is still ongoing at a Lagos State magistrate court.
