Did Sweden register sex as sport? - Fact check

A few days ago, it was widely reported in some international media that Sweden has recognized sex as a sport and accepted it as an official sport. However, according to the Dailymail, it has been clarified that this is not the case, and that the application to do so was rejected. A sex tournament slated to begin on 8th June 2023, however, is being organized by a former strip club owner and is open to participants from all European countries.

The tournament is anticipated to take several weeks to complete, with each competitor required to compete for 6 hours a day. There are 16 categories of challenges, including flirting, oral sex, intercourse, and more.

Competitors are expected to be knowledgeable in the Kamasutra and will be rewarded for demonstrating its techniques in their performances. At the conclusion of the event, the victors will be determined through a 70-30 combination of audience votes and jury ratings.

It has been reported that 20 applicants from various countries have already signed up.
